MacPhisto: [sings] "Even the greatest stars... discover themself... in the looking glass..." [approaches iPad on a stand; sees a devilish face superimposed over his own image]

Crowd: [laughter, whoops and whistles]

MacPhisto: [wipes away tears] "Goodbye, Dublin."

Crowd: [awww]

MacPhisto: [waves] "Bye-bye. MacPhisto is disappearing for a while."

Crowd: [awww]

MacPhisto: "Not gone, mind – just... slipping out of sight, till the next time."

Crowd: [whoops]

MacPhisto: [inhales] "But remember, bubblin' Dublin. Remember, Europe. Whenever you see a journalist being bullied, or children being separated from their parents, or old grudges resurfacing. Whatever the lost and lonely, when they're washed up on beaches, exhausted on borders that are closed to them. Wherever civic discourse has perished... never mind the value of human life. You'll find me there. My name... might be Donald..."

Crowd: [laughter, whoops and boos]

MacPhisto: "My name might be Jair Bolsonaro..."

Crowd: [whistles and applause]

MacPhisto: "...Vladimir Putin..."

Crowd: [whistles and applause]

MacPhisto: "...Marine Le Pen... Viktor Orbán. Whether big bruiser or little despot, wherever you see those many names, remember this – there's just one face attached to them. MY face."

Crowd: [whoops and applause]

MacPhisto: "And Dublin... when you don't believe I exist, that's when I do... my best work."

[Acrobat begins]

MacPhisto: "Don't believe what you hear. Don't believe what you see. If you just close your eyes... you can FEEL THE ENEMYYY!  Haa!"
