Knightmare characters survey A silly fanfic survey I tried in July 2014, using questions provided by John Elliott's Twelve Characters Meme generator. Randomly shuffled Knightmare characters: 1. Pickle Have you ever read a 6 [Smirkenorff] and 11 [the Brollachan] fic? If this means as a pairing, funnily enough no! (Sent to kill Smirky but falls in love with him instead? The Brollachan IS River Song!) Come to think of it I can't recall any fics that include both characters off the top of my head, though I'm sure there must be some. Do you think 4 [Sidriss] is hot? I don't find humans hot, so no... she looks nice though. What would happen if 12 [Pickle] got 8 [Mildread] pregnant? Erm... well I'm guessing it would have to be Mildread in her younger days (which is entirely possible if Pickle is 356 years old)... OK no, I really don't need to be picturing this. :P Can you rec any fics about 9 [Gundrada]? The Endless Quest and The Three of Hearts by Drassil! Can't think if there are any others. Would 2 [Pixel] and 6 [Smirkenorff] make a good couple? There's a bit of an awkward size difference, but they do have the whole flying thing in common, and both enjoy hurting Opposition minions, and think humans are clumsy and rude... so they probably would get along well! Would 5 [Lord Fear] and 9 [Gundrada]? I doubt his head would remain in place long enough to find out. Would 5 [Lord Fear] and 10 [Mogdred]? Bwahahahaha. I can't really see that working. Although now I've got a mental image of them starring in 'Vicious' and it's quite funny to think of them snarking at each other! Make up a summary for a 3 [Marta] / 10 [Mogdred] fic. Do I have to? Alright... Mogdred asks Marta if she will serve him... she misunderstands and asks if it's food, drink or "information" he wants... he thinks she's being impertinent and says quail... she says they don't serve that here, but she can offer him woodcock if that'd satisfy him (leans unnecessarily far forward)... DEAR GOD WHAT AM I DOING? Is there any such thing as 1 [Mrs Grimwold] / 8 [Mildread] fluff? I don't think so, but I'd be greatly amused if someone could manage it! Suggest a title for a 7 [Merlin] / 12 [Pickle] hurt/comfort fic. Slaps and Tickle?? What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 [Sidriss] to deflower 1 [Mrs Grimwold]? Good grief. Sidriss tries out a spell to rid the garden of weeds, but gets a little mixed up, much to the surprise of Mrs G who's just popped round in search of Festus. (Presumably Grimwold Jr was immaculately conceived?!) Does anyone on your friends list read 7 [Merlin] slash? I rather doubt it. Then again, Dumbledore slash is apparently a thing, so who knows. Does anyone on your friends list read 3 [Marta] het? I don't think anyone on my friends list reads KM fic at all, but Ricky on the forum wrote some Marta het only a few months ago. Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11 [the Brollachan]? I could swear I have seen a drawing of the Brollachan somewhere, but I don't remember where – probably TES or something. The best Brollachan-related fanfic is Always Of The Green by Ark. What might 10 [Mogdred] scream at a moment of great passion? I suspect he'd just laugh hysterically. If you wrote a song-fic about 8 [Mildread], which song would you choose? Gawd, I don't know. Maybe something like Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid? If you wrote a 1 [Mrs Grimwold] / 6 [Smirkenorff] / 12 [Pickle] fic, what would the warnings be? I can't imagine how that would work, but the mere thought of any threesome involving Mrs G is enough to cause permanent brain scarring! What might be a good pick up line for 2 [Pixel] to use on 10 [Mogdred]? "Pixel like your lower levels. You wanna see Pixel's box, then?" What was the last time you read fic about 5 [Lord Fear]? I read some fic in February that had Lord Fear in it, though it wasn't particularly about him. What is 6's [Smirkenorff] super-sekrit kink? Well... he does sound suspiciously eager whenever someone gives him a firestone, so maybe they're not really for eating? He could be rubbing himself on a whole pile of them down in that pit. :p Would 11 [the Brollachan] shag 9 [Gundrada]? Drunk or sober? Supposedly it can change shape so it ought to be possible (thus solving her problem from The Endless Quest). I doubt if anyone could tell the difference between drunk and sober Brollachan. Maybe if it started saying "I hungerrrrr... for kebaaaabs!" If 3 [Marta] and 7 [Merlin] get together, who tops? Does this mean what it sounds like? Oh, ew. (Marta.) How would you feel if 7 [Merlin] / 8 [Mildread] was canon? I would note that Treguard was wrong about Mildread not enjoying it if he arranged for her to meet Merlin, and be amused about his threat utterly backfiring. Back
