I live in Poole, Dorset on the beautiful south coast of England. I love going for scenic walks and take far too many photographs.

My favourite U2 albums are Achtung Baby, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb and Zooropa. My favourite song is Lemon.

I enjoy all kinds of rock, pop and dance music - mostly older stuff. Artists I like include The Alan Parsons Project, Alanis Morissette, Delays, Keane, Dire Straits, Crowded House, The Lightning Seeds, Del Amitri, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, The Moody Blues, Pet Shop Boys, Garbage, The Police, Kula Shaker, Single Gun Theory, The Waterboys, Duke Special... too many more to list!

My favourite authors are Salman Rushdie, J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. My favourite books are U2 At The End Of The World by Bill Flanagan and I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan. Anything with a playful satanic flavour is right up my street... I always did find the bad guys to be the best characters.

Current TV shows I watch: Neighbours, Doctor Who, Merlin, House, Top Gear, Pointless, Who Dares Wins, Deal Or No Deal, QI, A Question Of Sport, Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Total Wipeout, You've Been Framed, any wildlife programmes, any of James May's documentaries, various sports.
Older favourites include Knightmare (best show ever!), The Girl From Tomorrow, The Outer Limits, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Father Ted, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Mork & Mindy, The Fast Show, Red Dwarf, Harry Hill, TFI Friday, Shooting Stars, Maid Marian And Her Merry Men, The Crystal Maze, Interceptor, Robin Hood, Life On Mars / Ashes To Ashes, Due South, Ally McBeal and Star Trek (especially TNG).

My all-time favourite movies include Quills, The Matrix, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: The Voyage Home, Back To The Future, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, Watership Down and Ralph Bakshi's The Lord Of The Rings. (Peter Jackson's trilogy ain't too shabby either!) I like a variety of genres, but I'm much more likely to watch a sci-fi or action film than a chick flick.

My favourite things include sleeping, singing, Christmas, the colour purple, snow, the smell of seaweed, the soothing rhythm of a train, the feel of satin, quizzes, Haribo Starmix, parsnips, flat Cherry Coke, anything blueberry flavoured, profiteroles and butterscotch sundaes.

Some would say I have an odd sense of humour. Many would say I'm just odd...
